Save your $MONEY$

Your grandma gave you a $30 for your birthday you want to spend it right away or should you put it in your piggy bank for a bigger purchase later?

A lot of girls run into money troubles and end up having no money any where. If you can't manage your money when you are a kid, what are you going to do when you are a grownup?

The thing to do have a plan to save it. If you get a bunch of money, you can spend some of it, but save a big part of it. You should also put it in a safe place too. Each time you get money  from doing your chores, loosing a tooth, washing the dog  put it in that place. Then when you think you have enough money take it out and count it. Then you can think how much you are willing to spend for that cute summer dress.

Also save your change, it all adds up and you can go to a bank and they will trade you change for cash. You get a good feeling when you know that you have a lot of money and that you are not broke.

Ways to make Money

  • do chores
  • get good grades
  • save change
  • make a play and sell tickets
  • wash the dog
  • take more care of your pets
  • open a dog walking service
  • babysit
  • make a lemon aid stand
  • have a garage sale
  • babysit pets
  • ace a test

Talk to your parents about what you and they think is a good way of making money.

Here are some tips to help you stay organized

  • Keep a calendar so you know when important events ( like an exam in school or your Dad's birthday) are coming up so you can prepare for them.
  • Keep your school binder updated and clean. Throw out unnecessary paper or trash so your binder isn't cluttered.
  • Find a place for your desk supplies.
  • Keep your work space or desk clean and organized by returning what you use back to the place it belongs.
  • Designate a place to keep toys, games, clothes, books etc. and then always return those things to their proper place.
  • Label designated holders, shelves, boxes, etc. so you always know where something goes and where to find it.
  • Allow 10 minutes out of each day to put things back where they belong.
  • Allow time each day to look at your calender so you can see what is coming up and to add any new important dates.
